At Flip in Focus, we have the goal of sharing our knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, Flip camcorders.  We provide screencasts, or video tutorials, that visually explore Flip camcorders and related software, tips and articles that are of interest to video enthusiasts generally, and sometimes Flip enthusiasts in particular.  We provide forums for the discussion of general video topics of interest to users of Flip and other consumer camcorders.

Much of the material on the Flip in Focus website is freely available to all comers. One of the things we do is keep an eye open for interesting things other people are doing with their Flips on sites like YouTube, and embed those videos if we think our viewers will find them interesting.  Please let us know if you have a relevant piece of work you would like to see on our site.

We also create our own articles, videos, and tips and some of those are restricted to paid members.  Forum participation is also available only to paid members, to keep the forums focused and free of spam.  Members can also post free classified ads to buy or sell video-related gear, software, etc.

Flip in Focus is the first specialty site under the umbrella of Video in Focus, which serves the broader community of video enthusiasts. The Video in Focus Store, Forums, and Weblink resources that you see on this site are actually part of the Video in Focus site.

If you are a member of Flip in Focus, you can also log in to videoinfocus.com using your same username and password. However, you may run into some access restrictions. We encourage any members of our specialty sites who have a broader interest in video technology and making watchable videos to upgrade to Video in Focus membership to gain unrestricted access to all content on Video in Focus and its specialty sites.
