Falling Waters
I had been accumulating short clips of water scenes, during walks with my wife and dog on New England trails, over the winter and spring. After the second or third such clip, the idea for this video started forming in my head.
FlipShare just wasn't up to the task of the kind of titling, transitions, and effects I had in mind, so I used my own techniques of:
- a non-destructive modification to FlipShare, so it would export clips in full HD as .wmv files
- exporting the .wmv files, and then importing into Windows Movie Maker in the same 720p format that WMM uses to publish in HD
- editing and outputting with the right characteristics to get an HD rating on YouTube
