Every camcorder enthusiast that I know, including me, is looking for a steadicam-like device to stabilize a camcorder while it's moving, e.g., following Rocky up the steps in Phillie. This video, from destinws2, provides an inspiration -- maybe a patentable gene? -- for a rock-solid solution.

It's a problem, and I've been looking hard for a solution that is appropriate to the size of the Flip and the size of a Flip owner's budget.  I've spent some time in the shop, trying some different things, trying to stay under a few bucks worth of parts.  I've been watching what becomes available on the market, with the same criteria.  There's one I spotted that I might try.  Stay tuned...
